Pricing

Free for up to fifty people, then five dollars a person.

Billing is based on seats, so the invoice matches your members page. AI credits are pooled, with pay-as-you-go overage on Team, and the seat price itself never changes.

Compared

What each plan actually includes

Two plans, and the difference is how many people can be in the organization, and how much AI usage comes with them. Nothing else is held back from the free tier to force an upgrade, so most rows in this table read the same for both plans.

Questions

The ones worth asking before you buy

What counts as a seat?

A person in your organization who can use the product. A seat is a membership, not a login count and not a measure of activity. You can check the number yourself by counting the rows on your members page; that count is what the invoice is based on.

Why bill on seats rather than on who actually did something?

We built a metered version first and removed it. Billing on activity means the invoice changes when a team has a quiet stretch, which is unexpected and can discourage people from using the product. It is also hard to verify from outside, since you would have to trust our count. Seats are predictable and easy to check, which is what a billing line should be. AI usage is the one place we do meter: credits, pooled by plan, with pay-as-you-go on Team past the pool, because that usage has a real, variable cost we are not going to eat or guess at.

What are AI credits, and what do they cover?

One credit is one cent of the AI cost we actually pay, so the number tracks real spend rather than an arbitrary unit. Credits cover both chat and image generation, with no separate meter for each. Free gets 200 a month as one flat pool shared by the whole organization; Team gets 100 per seat per month, pooled across everyone rather than assigned person by person.

What happens if Team goes over its credit pool?

Past the pool, usage is pay-as-you-go at a cost-plus rate, roughly 3x the raw per-credit cost by default, billed automatically rather than requiring you to buy a top-up. An admin can set a dollar cap on that overage, so spend stops at a number you chose instead of running open-ended. Free has no overage at all: it hard-blocks at zero, because there is no card on file to bill against.

What happens when we hire our fifty-first person?

Free holds fifty seats, so the fifty-first person moves you onto Team and billing starts automatically; there is no form to fill out. You will get a notification naming the new monthly figure, and the change is written to the audit log along with the seat count that caused it. A bill starting because somebody invited a colleague is a significant change, so we tell you about it rather than letting you find it on a statement.

If we shrink back under fifty, do we go back to Free?

Not automatically. Moving down means cancelling a subscription, and an organization hovering around fifty people would end up cancelling and resubscribing every month. The billing page offers the downgrade whenever you qualify for it, but you need to take it yourself.

On Team, do I still get the first fifty free?

No. Team is $5 for every seat, including the first fifty. The allowance belongs to the free plan; it is not a discount carried onto the paid one. Two plans with a visible boundary beat one plan with an allowance that quietly starts charging.

Someone leaves. What happens to their seat?

Remove them from the organization and the seat count drops with them. Because the count comes from memberships rather than from a separate licence pool, there is nothing to reclaim and nothing to forget to reclaim.

How do I pay, and how do I cancel?

Card, through Stripe, from the billing page inside the product. Cancelling is on that same page and takes effect at the end of the period. There is no retention flow, no exit interview and no notice period to serve.

Do you offer annual billing?

Not today. Pricing is monthly. If a purchase process needs an annual commitment, say so and we will work it out with you rather than send you to a form.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Export everything whenever you like, and delete the whole organization when you are done. The data is actually removed, not just marked as deleted. Neither needs a support ticket.

Can I run this myself?

Not today. We do not sell a self-hosted licence. If running it yourself is a requirement rather than a preference, tell us and we will talk about it.

Fifty people, free, for as long as you like.

No card to start. At fifty-one people you move to Team, and we tell you the figure before you see a statement.
